Ian commenced his career in the accountancy profession in 1987 following a brief tenure as head of the IT office for a department store chain.

He has predominantly worked within practice for accountancy firms located in the South East of England, where he amassed extensive experience in accounts preparation, audit, personal and business tax, and business planning and forecasting. In 2000, he joined our firm.

In recent years, Ian’s focus has primarily been on the accounts preparation and auditing of small companies and partnerships, including solicitors, FCA-regulated businesses, and charities.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ian is actively involved in the community. He is a member of a local Academy Trust and volunteers at a Sea Scout group. Additionally, he enjoys sailing and spending quality time with his family.
